Prepare your own - Dactylioceras ammonites. What you see is what you get - Some seaworn or damaged outerwhorls but can be taken back for a good middle

These ammonite nodules, collected by me on the Yorkshire coast can be prepared by using pneumatic air tools, dremel engraver tools or sometimes will split with a hammer and chisel (although this last method greatly increases the risk of breakage or damage to the fossil)

Remember to always wear appropriate PPE when preparing fossils

These are natural products and successful preparation cannot be guaranteed!
